ITAHARI: Minister for Supplies, Ganesh Man Pun, has warned that the government is taking stringent measures against those involved in black marketing.

"The market is dominated by mob," Minister Pun said, adding that the government was intensifying market monitoring both from district and central levels.

The Minister arrived here for the on-site inspection of gas industries, Oil Corporation and salt trading on Sunday. The Minister told the local politicians and traders that the government is striving to normalize the supply system deranged during the blockade.

According to him, the Ministry was holding extensive discussion with the local administration on how the supply of daily essentials including fuel could be made effective.

On the occasion, a local entrepreneur Krishna Sapkota, however, complained that the fuel supply was not smooth. Other entrepreneurs also raised their voice that the government was not serious on people's day-to-day problems.
