Great Wall Motor (GWM) has launched the HAVAL JOLION MAX, a pure electric SUV, in Nepal at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
The SUV, introduced by GWM's authorised importer and distributor VG Impex Pvt. Ltd., is priced at a special launch offer of Rs 5.99 million.
The JOLION MAX is equipped with a 58.3 kWh battery and has a claimed WLTP range of more than 420 km. It offers 190 mm of ground clearance and supports both AC charging of up to 6.6 kW and DC fast charging.
The SUV comes with driver-assistance features including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane-change assist, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic warning and rear cross-traffic braking. It also has an indirect driver fatigue monitoring system and a transparent underbody view system.
Inside, the vehicle features a 14.6-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity and a six-speaker audio system. Selected variants also offer a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, electric driver-seat adjustment and ambient lighting.
The JOLION MAX supports vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, allowing users to supply 220V/50Hz power to external devices.
The launch comes about a month after GWM introduced the ORA 5 EV in Nepal. According to the company, Nepal is the second market globally to receive the HAVAL JOLION MAX.
GWM currently operates in more than 170 countries and regions and plans to expand its presence in Nepal with additional models, including vehicles in the premium and luxury segments.
