Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) has appealed all bandh organisers not to disturb tourists movement during the bandh. According to a press release issued here today by HAN, the bandh — which will ultimately affect our tourism industry at a time when the country is already facing economic crisis and most importantly deteriorating tourism revenues — called by political parties came as a shock to us.

As the tourism sector contributes employment opportunities and national revenue, the bandhs and strikes called ‘at times’ have severely affected the business, the release stateded further.
