KATHMANDU: Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) — the umbrella body of tourist standard hotels in the country — has formed its regional chapter in Nepalgunj.

Hoteliers from Banke, Bardiya and Nepalgunj have formed the 13-member adhoc committee led by Asit Shumsher JBR for the regional chapter of HAN, read the statement issued by the association on Wednesday.

There are altogether 13 HAN chapters, including the newly-formed Nepalgunj regional chapter. HAN authenticates regional chapter to the particular area if 20 tourist standard hotels express interest for it.
