KATHMANDU: Himalayan Bank Ltd (HBL) has started its digital payment counter service at Ripumardini Petrol Station, Bhadrakali.

The petrol station is managed by Nepal Army Welfare Fund (NAWF). As per the agreement between HBL and NAWF, the digital counter has been placed at the petrol station to provide easy digital payment channels to the customers visiting the petrol pump on daily basis, as per a press release.

The digital payment counter enables customers to make payment of the purchase through NEPALPAY QR of any banks' mobile banking app and through POS machine using ATM cards issued by different banks.

Ujjal Rajbhandary, deputy chief executive officer of HBL and Brigadier General Kiran KC, NAWF jointly inaugurated the digital payment counter in the presence of other executives of the bank and NAWF amidst a ceremony held at the petrol station.
