KATHMANDU: Himalaya Airlines, a Nepal-China joint venture airline, has officially inaugurated its Corporate Sales Office at Gairidhara, on Thursday. It was inaugurated by Vijay Shrestha, vice president of administration, handing over the first ticket issued for Doha to Raju KC, general manager of commercial department, as per a press statement. Himalaya Airlines will start flying to Doha, Qatar from May 31 providing non-stop flights from Kathmandu to Doha and back. It will fly three times a week from May 31 till June 15 and the flight frequency will be increased to daily flights from June 16 onwards.
