KATHMANDU, JANUARY 26
Representatives from Himalaya Jet along with the advisors recently met with the British Ambassador Rob Fenn along with the officials from the British Embassy to discuss collaborations and strengthen ties between the airline and the United Kingdom, on Thursday.
According to the statement issued by the Himalaya Jet on Friday, the meeting, held at the British Embassy, Kathmandu provided a platform for constructive discussions on various aspects of airline industry, including regulatory frameworks, bilateral agreements, and opportunities for connectivity between the United Kingdom and Nepal.
Raju KC, Himalaya Jet's Managing Director for Nepal, expressed enthusiasm about the meeting stating, "The discussions with the British Embassy were productive and promising. We explored avenues for enhanced cooperation, discussed partnerships, and considered initiatives that could benefit both the airline and passengers traveling between out countries."
The meeting also addressed matters related to the promotion of tourism, trade, and cultural exchange. Both parties recognized the importance of strong aviation links in facilitating economic growth and strengthening people-to-people connections, the statement added.
