The brand new British Premium airline Himalaya Jet has announced its long-term sponsorship of the Nepali diaspora's two largest annual events - the Gurkha Cup and Nepali Mela - for the next 10 years as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. Describing the airline as "patriotic," Himalaya Jet said the long-awaited operations are the result of years of dedication, hard work, lobbying and complying with regulations and policies across multiple authorities of different Countries. The initiative also lays the foundation for the airline's future vision to link global casino hubs-Las Vegas and Macau-to Monte Carlo by 2027/28, featuring state-of-the-art first and business class services for luxury travelers.
At a felicitation event hosted by Tamu Dhee UK, the airline's President and Owner, Dipendra Gurung MIoD, was honored with a traditional Piper ceremony and champagne toast in the names of His Majesty King Charles III and the President of Nepal. The event featured cultural performances by Nepali artists.
