KATHMANDU: Himalayan Bank Ltd (HBL) has brought into operation new branches in five different parts of the country from August 11.

The bank recently commenced its transactions from the newly opened branches in Lamki (Kailali), Lamahi (Dang), Shreenagar (Salyan), Bardibas (Mahottari) and Hile (Dhankuta).

After the establishment of the new branches, HBL now has a network of 47 branches.
