Hyatt wins award

KATHMANDU: Hyatt Regency Kathmandu has been recognised by World Travel Awards as Nepal’s leading hotel once again for 2017 after having won it in 2016 as well as for the years 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013.

“We are very excited and honoured to be voted as Nepal’s leading hotel in 2017 and this award is a reflection of our dedication towards excellence in the hospitality business. It is a great recognition to be granted this accolade.

In line with Hyatt’s objective, we will continue to make a difference in the lives of all those we touch every day — colleagues, guests, owners, operators, community members and shareholders,” a media release issued on Monday has quoted General Manager Sinead O’Reilly Henell as saying.

The World Travel Awards acknowledge, reward, and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism sector throughout the world. The WTA brand is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire. The awards are voted for by travel and tourism professionals worldwide.
