KATHMANDU, JANUARY 23
Hyundai Motor Company's all-new PALISADE has been named the 2026 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year by the North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) jury.
The award was decided by a panel of 50 automotive journalists from the United States and Canada following extensive real-world testing. The jury cited the PALISADE's hybrid and internal combustion engine options, spacious interior, advanced safety features and family-oriented design.
Hyundai said the flagship three-row SUV recorded strong sales growth in the US market in 2025, reflecting rising consumer demand for versatile and technology-driven utility vehicles.
