KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 18
IME Ltd has been honoured as the highest tax-paying remittance company in Nepal during the National Tax Day 2082 ceremony held in Kathmandu on Monday.
Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal presented the award to IME CEO Diwakar Paudel. Paudel said the recognition reflected IME's commitment to contributing to national development through strong tax compliance and expanding secure remittance services.
IME founder and FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal urged the government to prioritise safety and respect for taxpayers.
Established in 2001, IME has played a key role in formalising foreign currency inflows and operates a network of more than 100 international partners.
