India allows free ginger export from Nepal

Export of Nepali ginger to India has been allowed freely without any import permit, says a press statement issued by the Embassy of India on Wednesday.
According to the statement, although import of fresh ginger into India was restricted and required import permits, government of India has decided that now fresh ginger can be imported from Nepal freely.
The Indian government hoped that this special dispensation for Nepal should remove the difficulties being faced by Nepali farmers and exporters of ginger.
