KATHMANDU, JULY 26

Global mobility and delivery platform inDrive has launched a new creator fellowship in Nepal, pledging seed funding for six original digital content projects by emerging creators.

The initiative, titled "Dream It. Do It.", was unveiled during "Creators Bhetghat," an event that brought together more than 60 aspiring content creators for mentorship, networking and creative workshops, according to a press release issued by the company.

As part of the fellowship, six selected creators will receive production funding and creative freedom to develop content based on ideas they pitched during the event. All projects will be filmed in Nepal and will cover diverse themes, including ethnic cuisine, travel and personal storytelling.

The programme featured discussions on navigating brand partnerships, contract literacy, fair compensation and common challenges faced by digital creators. Participants also took part in team-based creative challenges involving pottery, painting and craft activities, producing original content within a set time.

According to inDrive, the initiative aims to support Nepal's rapidly growing creator economy by helping emerging storytellers transform their ideas into professionally produced content while fostering a collaborative creator community.

The company said the selected fellows will be announced through its social media platforms, with the funded projects scheduled for release over the coming months. It also plans to expand the programme to include additional themes and creator categories in future editions.

inDrive operates in more than 1,200 cities across 48 countries and offers ride-hailing, intercity transport, delivery and financial services. The company said the fellowship reflects its broader commitment to supporting local communities beyond its core mobility business.
