Industrial security force a must: Joshi

Itahari, April 9:

Kush Kumar Joshi, president of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) yesterday said lack of security has increased criminal activities.

Addressing a programme organised by Dharan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Joshi said the industrial sector would be hurt badly, if the government did not form industrial security force immediately. “Increasing number of kidnapping and extortion are the result of poor security and failure of administration to nab and punish the criminals,” he said, adding that hundreds of industries across nation are on the verge of closure.

He claimed that there would be an industrial revolution in the country within five years if the

industrial security is given importance by forming industrial security force. Joshi said that FNCCI will take initiatives to revive the industries closed during the insurgency period.
