Int’l meeting to evaluate development aid results

Hanoi, January 31:

More than 400 experts and government officials from 40 countries, 33 aid and donor agencies, and about 30 Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and private companies will get together in Hanoi, Viet Nam, next week to discuss how to better improve the results made possible with development aid.

The third international roundtable meeting on ‘managing for development results’ will run from February 5 to February 8.

The event is hosted by the Vietnam and sponsored by the African Development Bank (ADB), the Development Assistance Committee of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and its members, the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the World Bank.
