KATHMANDU: The Green Clean Organic Nepal has introduced an international organic fertiliser in the country with an aim to augment the development of agricultural sector.

At a press conference held on Saturday, the Organic Nepal's Chairman Dipendra Shahi said his company has imported the world-famous organic fertiliser, organic poison and liquid fertiliser in order to develop the agricultural sector.

He said the fertiliser was free from different sorts of chemical fertilisers and remained cent per cent clear of poison.

The organic fertiliser is manufactured by Jarupawa Manufacturing Company based in Thailand. The components of the fertiliser include a mixture of the outer skin layer of oceanic fishes and herbs.

The fertiliser was successfully tested by the farmers in Myanmar, South Korea, Nigeria, China, Vietnam, Japan and Malaysia among a dozen other countries.

A cost of a set of the organic fertiliser has been fixed at Rs 2,100 while the organisers have claimed the organic product will be far less cheap than other fertilisers and poisons found in the Nepali market.

The organic fertiliser, poison and food supplement from Thailand will be sold through various cooperatives and agro-vet markets in Kathmandu, Dhading, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Ilam, Hetauda, Chitwan and Kavre.
