KATHMANDU, JULY 14

The Internal Revenue Department (IRD) has provided instructions for revenue offices and banks to remain operational on Saturday, specifically on July 15 (i.e., Ashad 30).

To facilitate the completion of tax filing for the fiscal year 2079/80 (third installment), taxpayers must make their payments within the month of Ashad 2080.

To accommodate this requirement, the department has issued a notice stating that tax offices and banks will operate on Saturdays as well.

It has been communicated that even on the public holiday of Ashad 30th, offices serving large/medium taxpayers, internal revenue services, taxpayer service offices, and bank branches with revenue collection counters will remain open. Additionally, payment clearing services will also be available on that day.
