KATHMANDU: During a discussion held with a delegation of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FeNeGoSiDA), the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has urged traders to issue the electronic invoicing (e-billing). The department also informed the FeNeGoSiDA delegation about the benefits of e-invoicing.
The department had recently published a notice urging the taxpayers with a turnover of more than Rs 100 million to issue e-billing.
Meanwhile, stating the difficulties faced by the traders while issuing the electronic bills, FeNeGoSiDA President Manik Ratna Shakya implored the department to address the inconveniences being faced by the jewellery traders.
