KATHMANDU, JANUARY 27

Kajaria, a premium tile manufacturer, has expanded its presence in eastern Nepal with the inauguration of a new exclusive showroom in Biratnagar.

Located at Munal Path and operated by New Jyoti Traders, the showroom was inaugurated during a ceremony attended by government officials, industry representatives and customers. The event was graced by Koshi Province Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Bhim Parajuli as Chief Guest. Miss Nepal World 2025 Luna Luitel and Miss Nepal Earth 2025 Sony Ghale were also present.

The showroom was formally inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Himanshu Agrawal, Director of Kajaria Ramesh Tiles Limited.

Addressing the event, Minister Parajuli appreciated Kajaria's investment in the province, noting that the expansion of established brands reflects growing confidence in Nepal's industrial and construction sector.

Agrawal said the new showroom marks an important step in making Kajaria's tile collections more accessible to customers in eastern Nepal, adding that the company remains focused on quality, innovation and long-term commitment to the Nepali market.

The Biratnagar showroom features a range of tile designs for residential, commercial and architectural applications. Kajaria currently operates more than 100 showrooms nationwide and offers over 3,000 tile designs manufactured at Nepal's largest tile production facility.
