KATHMANDU: The broomer machines for which Kathmandu Metropolitan City had placed a purchase order in March to clean the dusty roads in Kathmandu will arrive in the rainy season.

In the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Thursday, Budget Division Chief of the Ministry of Finance Kewal Prasad Bhandari said that the finance ministry had provided assurance of fund worth Rs 90 million for the purchase of broomer machines in March, however due to delay in procurement process KMC is going to receive the broomer machines in the rainy season.
