Lenovo makes its debut in Nepal

Kathmandu, April 12:

The computer giant IBM has made its official debut to Nepal through its flagship brand enovo, appointing Cybernetics Pvt Ltd as its sole distributor for the Nepali market.

Following the merger of Lenovo and IBM, over 80 per cent of IBM products are being produced and marketed under the brand name of Lenovo.

Lenovo plans to introduce its full range of products in Nepal through Cybernetics in the near future, states a company press released here. Lenovo products include laptop, desktop PC, server, printer, projector, micro chips, cell phones and over 200 types of ICT products.

Lenovo is No 1 in Asia Pacific region with its total market share of over 65 per cent in the region, claims the company.

Cybernetics Pvt Ltd will appoint distributors and resellers throughout the country, ensuring easy availability of Lenovo products in Nepal, adds the release.

According to the company, Lenovo showroom and genuine service centre will be set up soon in Babarmahal.

Lenovo also plans to set up 15 showrooms and service centres covering major cities and trains over 50 IT engineer and technicians to provide continuous and seamless after sales services throughout the country once it starts operations here.
