In further modification to the urgent notice issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) on May 31, the government has decided to allow limited number of scheduled flights to China, Qatar, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan for designated airline of respective countries with conformance of specified health safety protocols.

Two flights per week to India - one each by Nepal Airlines and Air India - as per air bubble transport arrangement will be permitted.

For rest of the sectors, the flights shall remain suspended as per a CAAN notice issued on Monday. However, subject to special approval by CAAN, ambulance and cargo flights shall be operated continuously on all sectors as before.
