KATHMANDU: Marico has introduced sulphate- and paraben-free range of shampoo and conditioners for the first time in South Asia, with the products made available in Nepal at affordable mass-premium segment.

Sulphates and parabens can have negative effects on the hair like dryness, scalp irritation, fading of hair colour, hair loss and frizziness. Livon has also introduced a pre-wash hair nourisher, Livon Crème Oil, as per a press statement. Enriched with the goodness of coconut milk and coconut oil, it gives the nourishment of overnight oiling in just 30 minutes.

The products were introduced during an interaction programme with Hiral Bhatia — an internationally acclaimed Bollywood hair stylist, the statement adds.
