KATHMANDU: A Nepali carpet maker has signed a deal to increase delivery services to Florida.

Nepal Rugs and Carpets has signed a deal wherein Lisa Delivery Services (LDS) will provide a comprehensive air-freighting service that includes packaging, inspecting, padding, delivering and installing rugs, Furniture Today reports. The Kathmandu-based manufacturer, which deals mainly through designers, said this would help it provide a better service.

“LDS adds a dimension to our business we had not previously had,” company president John London said. The delivery firm also works with retailers and manufacturers for delivery of furniture and other items.
