MBL’s 17th anniversary

KATHMANDU: Machhapuchhre Bank Ltd (MBL) celebrated its 17th anniversary by organising various social programmes.

The bank, which launched its operation from Pokhara, currently has 56 branches, one extension counter and 72 ATMs.

On the occasion, the Janakpur branch of MBL distributed food items to Janaki Old-age Home and the Pokhara branch also distributed food items to 14 families displaced by the floods in Rato Mato Danda. The Baglung branch distributed educational materials to needy students of the Sanskrit School and Ilam branch organised a sports event for blind students and distributed awards.

Likewise, the Hile branch distributed educational materials to needy students and the Naxal branch distributed food items to students of Bal Ashram, Naxal. The Chapagaun branch of MBL handed over a water tank and water purifying unit to Santaneshwor Temple and a blood donation programme was organised by the Pepsi Cola branch in Pepsi Cola. The bank has stated in a press release issued on Sunday that it will organise various social programmes at its other branches too. It is also providing discounts on various services that it offers.
