KATHMANDU: Machhapuchhre Bank Ltd (MBL) and Heifer International Nepal have signed a pact to implement the deprived sector-lending programme supported by Sakchyam Access to Finance Programme.

Under this agreement, MBL will provide loan facilities from four cooperatives of Dang district, as per a press statement.

The bank will provide loan without collateral to deprived families through the cooperatives. The bank believes that this programme will help deprived and disadvantaged people to initiate their own business ventures.
