KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 19
For the second consecutive year, MetLife, Inc. has secured a prestigious position on the Fortune World's 25 Best Workplaces™ list, ranking No. 10 for 2025.
This global accolade, awarded to only 25 companies worldwide, underscores MetLife's steadfast dedication to its employees, customers, and communities, according to a press release issued by the company.
The annual list, compiled by Fortune's research partner Great Place to Work®, is based on an extensive analysis of nine million employee survey responses, representing the experiences of 25 million workers across certified organizations. Companies are evaluated on their success in creating exceptional workplace cultures and making a positive impact across multiple countries.
In a statement, MetLife President and CEO Michel Khalaf attributed the recognition to the company's workforce. "MetLife's continued recognition on the Fortune World's 25 Best Workplaces™ list is a testament to the passion and dedication of our employees, who live our purpose every day," Khalaf said. "As we advance our New Frontier growth strategy, this recognition reflects our commitment to fostering a strong workplace culture where every employee can thrive."
This global honor follows a series of other workplace accolades for the company. MetLife was recently named to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list in the U.S. for the third year in a row and has received regional best workplace recognition in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Further solidifying its global standing, MetLife was certified as a Great Place to Work in 33 markets in 2025 and earned best workplace honors in numerous countries, including Brazil, Chile, China, India, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.
"Our people are the driving force behind everything we achieve at MetLife," said MetLife Chief Human Resources Officer Shurawl Sibblies. "This recognition is a direct result of their commitment to making a difference-both within our company and in the communities we serve."
To be eligible for the Fortune World's 25 Best Workplaces™ list, companies must have at least 5,000 employees worldwide and be recognized as outstanding employers on at least five Best Workplaces™ lists across different continents.
