KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 16

MetLife Nepal marked its 24th anniversary this month, highlighting its growth and continued commitment to providing insurance protection to millions of Nepalis.

At a special event attended by employees and their families, the company reflected on its journey since beginning operations in Nepal in 2001. MetLife Nepal has expanded access to insurance through digital services, including the 360Health platform and the One by MetLife mobile app.

Elena Butarova, Head of MetLife Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal and Vietnam, said the company remains committed to growing alongside Nepal and helping customers build a more confident future.

MetLife Nepal also noted its recognition as a Great Place to Work this year and its involvement in community initiatives related to health, education, financial literacy, and environmental awareness.
