MetLife Nepal has inaugurated its new head office at Signature Platinum Tower in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, marking a milestone in its 24-year presence in Nepal.
The company said the new office represents its transition into a more modern and technology-driven organization, designed to improve operational efficiency and deliver faster customer services.
The facility includes upgraded infrastructure, integrated technology, and collaborative workspaces aimed at enhancing both internal operations and customer experience.
MetLife stated that the office symbolizes not only a physical expansion but also a stronger commitment to providing transparent, customer-focused financial services in Nepal.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including Scott Urbom, Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy, and Susil Dev Subedi, Executive Director at the Nepal Insurance Authority.
MetLife's regional leadership, including Lyndon Oliver, Regional President for Asia, and Elena Butarova, Senior Vice President and Head of Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal and Vietnam, were also present.
Speaking at the event, Lyndon Oliver said the new office reflects the company's long-term commitment to Nepal.
"This space represents the next chapter of customer experience, matching modern capability with our energy and focus on care and convenience," he said.
MetLife has been operating in Nepal since 2001 as a branch of American Life Insurance Company, offering life insurance, accident and health insurance, and employee benefits to individuals and businesses.
