MetLife’s new plan
KATHMANDU: MetLife Nepal has announced the launch of its ‘Policy Reinstatement’ campaign. With the campaign, the company is providing waiver on the late fee charged for overdue premium to its policyholders whose policies have lapsed.
During this campaign period, policyholders with lapsed policies can get their policies reinstated and have continued insurance protection.
It will offer 100 per cent waiver on the late fee for policies which have lapsed for five years or less. For policies that have lapsed for more than five years, 50 per cent waiver is being offered on the late fee.
The facility is being offered on MetLife’s products like 3Payment Plan, Endowment Plan, Education Protection Plan, Subhabishya Beema - Aajiwan Aaya, and Educare. In addition to this, the company has also simplified the reinstatement procedure to provide better service to its customers.
This initiative is a part of MetLife’s Customer Centricity campaign and it would provide all its policy owners an opportunity to continue their lapsed policies, the company said. Campaign began on Tuesday and is valid for a limited period.
