Model farm-to-be
BAGLUNG: Youths of Resh and Damek VDCs in Baglung district are running a goat and agricultural farm at Chapakharka. Spreading the message that it is not necessary to go abroad to earn money, the farm was established nine months ago. The initial investment in the farm was Rs 1.4 million. Aparty from goat-keeping, poultry farming and vegetable production are also taking place in the farm spread on 167 hectares of land belonging to two community forest areas. At present, there are 94 goats in the farm. The youths are readying with support from the district livestock office to develop it as a model farm of the country.
