MTA forms new committee

The Morang Trade Association (MTA) has formed a new 15 member executive committee, yesterday.
The association took a new turn after Champa Lal Rathi, declared the favorite candidate for chairman, lost the election, businessmen said.
Rathi lost the election after the outgoing coalition proposed his name for chairman and suddenly, the name of Jeevan Nepal, ex-general secretary of MTA, has come to the foremost as the chairman.
Nepal, who won the election, is the new chairman now.
The election, with the turnout with 1918 votes and 29 candidates, saw Avinash Bohra, Basu Dev Golyan, Tulsi Ram Agrawal, Pradip Agrawal, Jitendra Sethia, Mahesh Jaju, Surendra Golchha, Chandra Sekhar Ghadewa, Jeevan Nepal, Prakash Munghada, Pawan Sharada, Bijendra Parashar, Shankar Lal Rathi, Bikham Chand Saral, and Moti Lal Dugar win as the new committee.
