KATHMANDU, MAY 23
Muktinath Bikas Bank Ltd. has provided scholarships to 42 Grade 11 students from across the country under its "Muktinath Utkristha Scholarship" programme.
According to the bank, the scholarships were awarded to students from economically disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds to support their continued education.
The bank stated that the programme was introduced to assist students facing financial hardship and help them pursue higher studies.
Students receiving the scholarships said the support had encouraged them to continue their academic journey, while parents expressed confidence regarding their children's future.
Muktinath Bikas Bank said education remains a key foundation for building a prosperous society and stressed the importance of providing opportunities to talented students regardless of their financial condition.
The bank also said it would continue programmes related to education, health and social development as part of its social responsibility initiatives.
