KATHMANDU: Nepali Army (NA) has formally awarded the contract to conduct detailed project report (DPR) of the 76.2-kilometre-long Kathmandu-Tarai Fast Track to South Korean joint venture company Yooshin and Pyunghwa, on Tuesday.

Major General of Nepali Army Yogendra Bahadur Khand and Chairman of Soosung Engineering Co Ltd Keehyun Hwang have signed an agreement to complete the DPR within 105 days from October 21.

NA has awarded the contract for the DPR to Soosung at a cost of Rs 101.2 million.
