KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 5

The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has been providing free air transport facilities to cancer patients on the Kathmandu-Delhi-Kathmandu route.

NAC's spokesperson, Ramesh Poudel, stated that the national flag carrier offers 100 percent concession to cancer patients and up to 50 percent concession to their attendants on airfare for this route as part of its corporate social responsibility.

In a press release today, NAC stated that it has been providing this concession on airfare to cancer patients and their attendants on this route based on the doctor's report and the recommendation of the Nepal Cancer Relief Society, in the context of World Cancer Day 2024.
