KATHMANDU: The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is set to conduct flights to New Delhi in India and Hong Kong from the Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa by establishing the airport as a transit point from Tuesday onwards.

Ramesh Paudel, spokesperson for NAC, shared that a decision has been made to conduct one flight a week from the airport and increase flights gradually following an uptick in demand.

As per the flight schedule, the flight will take off from Bhairahawa at 8:15am and land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu around 9:00am after which the flight will head to Hong Kong or New Delhi after transferring passengers to a connecting flight.
