Home stay facility

KATHMANDU: Home stay facility will start in Lazimpat in view of Nepal Tourism Year-2011. A committee has been formed under the coordination of local tourism entrepreneur Jagat Man Lama for the service to be initiated in Ward 2 of Lazimpat, said Lazimpat Tourism Development Council chairman Govinda Singh Dongol. A tourist will have to pay $20 per night for the service, said Dongol.

Sugar mill closed

KAPILBASTU: Mahalaxmi Sugar Mill at Jawabhari at Krishnanagar in the district has stopped production due to the shortage of sugarcane. More than 150 workers at the sugar mill are affected due to the halt in production. Operation of the mill was hit due to internal dispute among the factory employees.
