JBBL’s 10th branch

KATHMANDU: Jyoti Nikas Bank director Hari Prasad Acharya on Wednesday inaugurated the bank’s 10th branch office in Morang. On the occasion, bank chief executive officer Jhalak Prasad Khanal said JBBL will soon open another branch at Saraswotinagar in Kathmandu. Aiming to promote the hydropower sector and energy production, JBBL has formed a technical team to assist the bank. It recently brought a scheme ‘Dibya Jyoti Khata’ that can be opened with a minimum balance of Rs 100 and a Super Premiun Khata Bachat Khata that offers 8.5 per cent interest.

KMFL’s 4th branch

KATHMANDU: Kuber Merchant Finance Ltd opened its fourth branch at Kumaripati in Lalitpur on Wednesday. The finance company that started its transactions from its office at Putali Sadak four years ago has branch offices in Makhan, New Road; Chipledhunga, Pokhara and Gaighat of Udaypur. The company has total paid-up capital Rs 149.30 million and collected deposit Rs 770 million. The finance company provides life insurance cover, remittance, free debit card, ABBS, ATM and SMS banking services.

Fishtail training

KATHMANDU: A Fishtail Air team led by chief executive officer Suman Pandey is getting observation training in Alpine rescue operations with the support of a Swiss company, Air Zermatt, in Switzerland. Since inception in 1968, Air Zermatt has pioneered helicopter rescue operations in the Swiss Alps. The team includes chief pilot Capt Sabin Basnyat, operations manager Pradip Gautam and senior technician Purna Awale. Chief of air safety department Binod Giri is accompanying the team on behalf of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
