NBL officials accused of bribery

Nepal Bank Ltd-Gaur has cancelled the auction of the property of an industrial institute and returned it to its original owner Girdhari Lal Marwadi of Gaur municipality-1. The returned property, included Bishwanath Pulse Mills, Sony Drug House and Riddhi Siddhi Company situated at Gaur municipality-3 in Birgunj sub-municipality.
Shambu Shah of Gaur municipality-3 had accepted the property of BPM at an amount of Rs 1,02,51,000 while Mukesh Kumar Agrawal had agreed to pay Rs 25,11,47,000 for the SDH and house and land of Riddhi Siddhi Company. A local businessman had paid two million rupees for the plot of land in Birgunj municipality. The bank had auctioned the property after Marwadi failed to pay Rs 3,13,00,000 including Rs 1,64,00,000 loan that he borrowed six years ago.
