NBL reopens its branch
Kathmandu, December 16:
Nepal Bank Ltd (NBL) has reinstated its Parsa Bazaar branch on December 14.
Bir Bikram Rayamajhi, deputy governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, while reopening the branch expressed the hopes that resuming of services by the branch that was closed due to political adversity will serve better.
Many NBL branches in the districts were shifted or closed due to security reasons in the past.
Dr Binod Atreya, coordinator of the NBL management team, said that NBL plans to reopen its branches in commercially viable areas.
“NBL is offering all sorts of financial services and loans to its consumers at competitive interest rates,” he said, adding that the reopened branch is one of the computerised branches of NBL.
NBL, has been lately computerising its branches to compete with the private commercial banks.
