NCCB inaugurates branch at Chabahil

Kathmandu, June 18:

Bimalendra Nidhi, minister for industry commerce and supplies, inaugurated the fourteenth branch office of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank (NCCB) at Chabahil at a function held here today. Speaking at the programme minister Nidhi said that the initiative taken by NCC Bank to serve the people at a time when the country is going through a bad economic phase is appreciable. "The success achieved by NCC Bank at such a hard time shows that the bank is working for the betterment of the economy. This will help the bank achieve its goal," said minister Nidhi.

Speaking at the inauguration programme, Pradip Kumar Shrestha, board member of Nepal Rastra Bank and former president of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries said, "The Nepal Rastra Bank is always working to promote private banks through policy reforms." Laxmi Bahadur Shrestha, chairman of board of directors of the NCC Bank highlighted the plans and policies of NCC Bank and Narendra Bhattarai, managing director of NCC spoke about policy changes and the benefits earned by the bank from its programmes.
