Ncell honoured

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) office has honoured Ncell — the top GSM service provider of the country — for paying the highest advertisement tax in fiscal year 2015-16.

KMC had presented the appreciation letter to Ncell during a programme held on Monday through which KMC’s budget, policies and programmes were publicised.

The award was presented by Minister of Federal Affairs and Local Development Hit Raj Pandey to Mahendra Bhattachan, security and administration director at Ncell.

According to KMC, the office had collected altogether Rs 41.7 million in advertisement tax, in which Ncell had contributed one-third of the said amount.
