One of the commerical banks in Nepal, Nepal Bangladesh Bank is set to provide access to customers for opening online fixed deposit accounts.
The bank released a press release on Monday regarding the launch of the service. According to NBB, the customers after accessing the bank's website www.nbbl.com.np can click on Fixed Deposit and decide on the tenure and amount of the fixed term account.
The online facility provided by the bank will be beneficial especially for Nepali naionals working abroad.
Currently, Nepal Bangladesh Bank (NBB) has 100 operational branches, 10 extension counters and 84 ATMs.
