Sungold Brewery (Nepal) Pvt Ltd has started exporting Nepal Ice beer to the United Kingdom.

The product of Nepal’s leading business conglomerate — Chaudhary Group — has been recently launched at London Town Hall in UK. Murari Raj Sharma, Nepali ambassador to UK, announced the launch of Nepali beer in the UK market, states a press release.

Sharma thanked both the brewer and importer for their contribution that will help in foreign exchange earnings for Nepal through direct exports. Altitude Imports (UK) Ltd is the authorised importer and distributor of Nepal Ice beer in the UK market. Dipendra Kumar Bhatta, head of exports division at Chaudhary Group and Kishore Sapkota, director of Altitude Imports, also spoke on the occasion.

Sungold Brewery started marketing of Nepal Ice beer since 2006 in major cities to cater tourists visiting Nepal and to meet their expectation of high quality local beer. The beer has already been started exporting to Japan.
