NOC cuts ATF price by five rupees

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has cut the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) by five rupees per litre for domestic carriers to be effective from Saturday. After the price revision, domestic carriers will get fuel at Rs 94 per litre against the existing Rs 99 a litre.

Similarly, NOC has cut the price of ATF for international airlines refuelling in Tribhuvan International Airport by $50 per kilolitre (1,000 litres). Currently, NOC has fixed the price of ATF for international carriers at $881 per kilolitre. After the revision, price of ATF for international carriers will stand at $831 per kilolitre, according to NOC.

NOC Spokesperson Bhanubhakta Khanal said that NOC revised the price of aviation fuel for both domestic and international carriers as per the international market price of the fuel received by the corporation today from its sole supplier, Indian Oil Corporation.

NOC has said that it will not revise price of other fuels this fortnight (September 16 to 31).
