Nepal Oil Corporation slashes fuel prices

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has cut down the recently hikes fuel prices to be effective from Sunday midnight. As per the revised price, petrol will now cost Rs 110/litre, indicating that the price has now gone down by Rs 3.

Likewise, NOC has reduced Rs 2 in kerosene and diesel prices. The new price stands at Rs 93/litre each.

Meanwhile, prices of cooking gas and aviation turbine fuel remain unchanged at Rs 1375/cylinder and Rs 100/litre respectively.

After the revision, NOC still incurs a fortnightly loss of Rs 70.86 million.
