Kathmandu, February 8

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) shuffled its executive directors today. The central bank transferred Nephil Matangi Maskay to the governor’s office, Upendra Kumar Poudel to the Human Resources Department and Ajindra Prasad Luitel to General Service Department.

Likewise, Bhubnesh Prasad Pant was appointed as executive director of Public Debt Management Department, Basudev Adhikari at Finance Companies Supervision Division, Gopal Prasad Bhatta at Financial Management Department and Neelam Dhungana Timsina at the Internal Audit Department, according to Joint Spokesperson of the central bank Rajendra Prasad Pandit.

Similarly, Jhalak Sharma Acharya was appointed to Banking Office of the central bank in Thapathali. NRB board meeting has made the decision of transfer and appointments. The board shuffled department chiefs of half of the total 16 departments under the central bank.
