KATHMANDU: Nepal SBI Bank Ltd has been awarded with ‘Industrial Peace Award-2072 (2016)’. This award is given to both private sector and public sector enterprises separately in recognition of sound industrial relations and HR practices and management, as per a statement issued on Saturday. Chiranjibi Nepal, governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), felicitated Nepal SBI Bank with the award as the top private sector enterprise and Employees Provident Fund (EPF) from among public sector enterprises. The felicitation was organised under the aegis of Financial Institutions Employees Union of Nepal (FIEUN), an umbrella organisation of the employees working in the financial sector, including NRB officers. The winners were declared by a panel of three judges (each representing Department of Labour, ILO recognised UNI Group and FIEUN).
