Nepal takes part in international fair

Kathmandu, January 18:

The Royal Nepalese embassy in Myanmar took part in the international fair recently organised on Saturday under coordination of Myanmar-ASEAN Women Friendship Association and the foreign ministry of Myanmar in the foreign ministry of Myanmar.

There were 38 stalls in the fair belonging to embassies of various countries, UN Women’’s Association, hotels and women entrepreneurs in Myanmar. In the Nepalese stall, various items including metal products, Thanka paintings, statues of Buddha, T-shirts were displayed. On the occasion, many booklets and publicity materials on Lumbini — the birthplace of Buddha — published by the Nepalese embassy as well as tourism materials of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) were on display for publicity.

According to the Nepali embassy, a large number of Myanmar citizens as well as foreign tourists observed the Nepalese stall with keen interest.
